Gordon Reece
Gordon Reece is the youngest of six children who studied English Literature at Oxford University, and worked as an English teacher before deciding to requalify as a lawyer. In 1999 he and his wife Joanna moved to Spain and Gordon concentrated on full-time writing and illustrating for children. His first book, The Zebra and the Crocodile, was published in Spain in 2002 and his first Lothian book, The Runaway Circus, was published in 2004. His next picture book Nog the Nag Bird was published in 2006. Gordon and Joanna emigrated to Australia in 2005 and now live in Victoria.
Illustrator Vilma Cencic has always loved drawing, and studied design at the University of Western Sydney with a major in illustration. Since then she has worked as a freelance illustrator and has been illustrating for School Magazine for the past ten years. Vilma s first illustrated book was Mr Pavlov s Possum, in the Lothian Giggles series, written by Vashti Farrer. Vilma lives in Sydney with her husband, two young boys and their pet dog Sparky.
